Vatic State in the Time of Self-Quarantine

I realised it was raining heavily all of a sudden a few days ago

I heard it instead of seeing it—I was looking at the computer screen at the time

It was like a low but intense hiss that was very consistent and does not require any breathing space

Sometimes there would be loud thuds on the glass as raindrops hit the glass

Not exactly a very heavy raindrop on my hand when I closed the window but sure was very cold

Cracks in the ceiling, on both ends
Why would wallpaper crease
What is behind the wallpaper?
especially at places where it bulges
a nest of bugs??

Is there anything between the cracks in the ceiling
Bugs? The cockroaches that seemed to manifest in groups before?
Always thought they are from flats nearby as there were no noticeable ones before the series of works being done in the flats near us
For a while there seems to be construction work going on one after another
Seems to be starting again
